Everyone is busy wearing masks, this "strongest weapon" has been ignored
ome times ago, NHK Japan conducted an experiment called "New Corona Virus Transmission Speed". More than ten volunteers participated in the test at a restaurant. The experiment began, first put fluorescent powder in the hands of a test person to simulate the new coronavirus, and rub it in the hand(figure 1). Next, the tester first went to the bar to use public tableware to get food, returned to his seat to eat with friends, and then went to the bathroom.
(figure 1 The host said that in the experiment, a volunteer played the patient, smearing the fluorescent powder of the simulated virus on his hand.)
After half an hour had passed, the experimenters turned off the lights of the whole field and turned on the ultraviolet light to check the final experimental results. But the next scene shocked all the experimenters. Not only the friend of this tester was contaminated with phosphor, but also the other testers in the restaurant, tableware, tables, chairs and door handles were all stuck with phosphor to varying degrees(figure 2). If this phosphor is really a Coronavirus then the consequences are self-evident.
(figure 2 The host said that after 30 minutes, the experimenters used an ultraviolet lamp to check the spread of the virus.)
Although this is only a scientific experiment, the implications are very intuitive and effective. As we all know, one of the ways of virus transmission is contact transmission. Droplets deposit on the surface of the object and touch the mucous membrane of the mouth, nose and eyes, leading to infection。Even if we wear masks correctly and change them in time, our hands are exposed to countless objects every day, which can be easily caught if we are not careful.

Apart from masks, there is only one weapon that has been forgotten, that is gloves. The gloves we currently use are roughly divided into two types: disposable nitrile gloves (figure4) and disposable PVC gloves(figure 5). For daily use, including long-distance travel, supermarket shopping, and hospital treatment, disposable PVC gloves are sufficient. But everyone must pay attention when buying, choose products made by regular manufacturers, and wear and remove gloves correctly.

The epidemic is not over yet, and everyone needs to work together. To protect yourself is to protect our family. If any friends want to know more about epidemic prevention, please leave a message in the comment area.
