On July 1, 2020, GB 2626-2019 was officially implemented.The KN95 mask will have higher requirements in terms of breathing resistance, air tightness, practical performance, cleaning and disinfection, etc., and it can better reflect the performance of the mask in actual use.
The mask standard we used before was GB 2626-2006, so what is the difference from the newly released GB 2626-2019?
First of all, we must understand that the first edition of the standard GB 2626-2019 was released in 1981 (GB2626-1981), and was updated three times in 1992, 2006 and 2019 respectively.The 2019 version is changed to "Respiratory protection self-priming filter anti-particulate respirator", and the word "supplies" has been removed.
Secondly, the regulations for respiratory resistance are different.GB 2626-2006 stipulates that all types and levels of respirator masks are less than or equal to 250pa, while GB 2626-2019 stipulates that all types of masks with breathing valves need to be less than or equal to 150Pa.This means that compared with the 2006 version, the respiratory resistance index is adjusted without reducing the protective ability, the detection method is improved, the lower field of view of the half mask is optimized, and the comfort of the product is improved.
In terms of cleaning and disinfection, the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration and the China National Standardization Management Committee require manufacturers to provide more information:
1. Need to provide specific characteristics and scope of applicable particulate matter;
2. The maximum number of times that it can be cleaned or sterilized, and provide the test user with a method to judge whether it will continue to be effective or replaced;
In the new standard, according to the filtration efficiency level of non-oily particulate matter, the filtration effect level is divided into KN100, KN95 and KN90.The filtration efficiency of non-oily particulates above 0.075 microns reaches 99.97%, 95% and 90% respectively. The higher the protection level and the filtration efficiency, the higher the safety of the dust mask.
